Dark FallTheory (DFT) explores how our understanding of time and existence shifts across dimnension which are outlined in this short article

In a 1D world, there would be no concept of movement or time as we know it—only the perpetual present. For a 1D entity, experience is limited to a single point; thus, time and progression are not experienced in any meaningful way.

In a 2D world, time might involve movement within a single plane, offering a basic sense of "before" and "after" as a measure of speed within that plane. However, such an entity would lack depth perception, and thus its understanding of progression would be limited. While it might experience change, its sense of past and future would remain shallow, grounded solely in the environment it can perceive.

In a 3D world, we understand time as a linear sequence of past, present, and future—a one-way progression that applies universally to all things, animate and inanimate. This framework gives rise to existential questions about continuity beyond this timeline. Many wonder if life exists after death, envisioning it as a continuation of earthly experience, often with physical forms and relationships intact.

Dark Fall Theory (DFT) proposes that in a 4D world, time itself could be experienced as a structured, navigable space, where past, present, and future exist simultaneously. In this view, time resembles a spatial framework with different "rooms" or "layers" that a 4D entity could move through freely. While 3D beings perceive time linearly, phenomena such as déjà vu, reincarnation, and multi-personality experiences hint at potential glimpses into this multi-layered structure.

DFT further suggests that in higher dimensions, such as a 5D world, time’s structure could encompass not just a single universe but multiple interconnected universes. Each universe would be a distinct "room" within a more expansive framework, where movement between these universes becomes possible. This view implies an ever-widening spectrum of reality, with each additional dimension offering an even broader perspective on existence.

In essence, DFT envisions a progression where each dimension reveals new layers of time and space that are inaccessible to lower-dimensional beings. Just as 3D beings struggle to conceptualize 4D time, each higher dimension introduces structures beyond conventional understanding, inviting us to explore existence as an interconnected, multi-dimensional continuum.
